Due to electrical work being performed at the facility, we will not have computer or phone service from Wednesday, November 12th, at 4 pm until Monday morning, November 17th, at 8 am.
Fall is on its way:
It’s the time of year when the weather gets cooler and the leaves start to fall. Take the dread out of raking and bagging leaves by using a few tips from the attached document. Treat your yard to a “spa day” by mulching your leaves instead of raking and bagging them.
Dates of closure for the holidays:
The holidays are getting closer and we will be altering the days we are open to the public. The facility will be closed the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (November 26th), Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve. The facility will be open from 9 am until 2 pm on the second and fourth Saturdays of November (the 8th and 22nd) and the second Saturday of December (the 13th).
Bring us waste and get a reusable bag:
If you bring HHW materials to the facility before the end of the year we will send you home with a reusable tote bag. The bag contains information about how picking up after your pet helps maintain better water quality. There is also a refillable nylon container with biodegradable bags you can clip on your doggy’s leash.
